Organization of stadium seating. What should be kept in mind?
How an important decision is a good organization of stadium seating is described in today's material.
Stadium seatingcomfort
In addition to the fact that stadium seating must be comfortable and properly constructed, it is useful to know exactly how the seats should be arranged and positioned. The minimum space for each seated person should be:
- seat width-minimum 45 cm,
- backrest height-minimum 30 cm,
- seat height-45 cm (knee height),
- seat depth-35-45 cm,
- depth of the seat row-minimum 80 cm.
In addition:
- the number of seats in a row should not exceed 28, if the aisle is on two sides,
- if the aisle is on one side, the number of seats should not exceed 14,
- the minimum width between aisles should be 40 cm.
When planning the exact placement of seats in the stadium, it is essential to ensure adequate visibility and roofing of the stadium. The canopy is one of the most important elements that determine the comfort of spectators.
What should be avoided when planning stadium seating?
Without a doubt, stadium seats should be arranged so that the sun does not heat them up, much less shine into the eyes of fans. It's also worth knowing how to lay out the stands of journalists. They should not be placed facing west and south to avoid the discomfort of sun glare and high temperatures. The VIP stand should be deployed on the west side to provide coolness and shade, as should the stand of the aforementioned journalists.
Properly furnishing the stadium with seating is a key step to ensuring the comfort of every spectator.
