Professional volleyball nets

Volleyball net must meet strict requirements for size and quality of workmanship. According to international regulations, models for professional games should be 9.50 meters long and 1 meter wide. The volleyball net must be evenly stretched and hung at a height of 2.43 meters (for men) or 2.24 meters (for women). During youth games it is mounted slightly lower. The upper and lower parts are edged with canvas tape, and the mesh has sides of 10 cm.

A good volleyball net should be resistant to damage and stretching. The threads must be thick and tightly braided, and the material should be strong enough to withstand the intense impact of a volleyball. They are made of sturdy polypropylene strings, in accordance with the recommendations specified in the rules of the game.
