Stationary or mobile table?

The main selection criterion is the question of mobility of the table tennis table. On the market there are available:

• one-piece tables - stationary,
• folding tables - mobile.

Both solutions have their advantages and disadvantages. The huge disadvantage of a one-piece table is that it permanently occupies space, and therefore requires a separate room to set it up. However, it is definitely lighter and, above all, its price is much lower. Folding table - mobile can be moved at will. This means that in the summer you can put it outside and enjoy outdoor entertainment. In addition, when it is not in use, it can be folded, thus saving space. Unfortunately, it also has its downsides. It is definitely a more expensive solution.

Table tennis - indoors or outdoors?

Manufacturers offer table tennis tables - indoor and outdoor. Again, this division is related to their price. Outdoor tables are definitely more expensive. Mainly because they are made of much better materials resistant not only to mechanical damage, but also to weather conditions or changing temperatures.

Table for home use or for public facilities?

Ping-pong tables are chosen both by individuals who want to practice at home, and by institutions such as community centers, schools, or day care centers. Again, it is very important to choose the right equipment. For home use, it may have been a lower quality table. In institutions such as schools, table tennis tables are exposed to very intensive use, so it is worthwhile to go for a higher quality, which will probably also involve a correspondingly higher purchase price. However, it should be taken into account that this is an investment for many years.
