The discus throwing cage is an innovative design that very much meets users' expectations for: high quality materials and workmanship, easy assembly and disassembly, simple operation and reliability.

The structure of the cage is made up of silver anodized aluminum poles and an approved protective net. The poles are attached to special anchors embedded in concrete foundations. Each post is equipped with a self-locking mechanism for raising and lowering the net with a crank. The tension of the net in the lower part of the cage is carried out with a steel cable and hooks. The use of special anchors eliminated the problem of water getting into the lower cage structure and subsequent corrosion. Each anchor is equipped with a pair of hinges, by means of which it connects to the base of the pole. This connection greatly simplifies and speeds up the assembly, (as well as disassembly) of the entire aluminum structure.

When the cage is not in use, the anchors can be covered with a synthetic surface and the area can be used for other purposes as well. The wire rope and hooks provide better tension for the net than traditional sandbags. As a result, the net forms a compact and resilient screen to cushion disk impacts. The self-locking net lifting mechanism features simple operation and high reliability.

The body of the mechanism is galvanized and additionally powder coated. All ends of the poles are finished with caps that provide an aesthetic appearance and protection against water getting inside the structure. The use of aluminum for the construction of the cage made it possible to significantly reduce the time of its assembly (disassembly), which is carried out by 3÷4 people without the use of a crane in about 3 hours.

The cage is certified by the International Association of Athletics Federations IAAF.
