Unihockey is a dynamic and popular sport that is gaining popularity in Poland. This game attracts both younger and older players, who appreciate its exciting nature and simplicity of rules. To enjoy this sport to the fullest, it is worth learning about the necessary sports equipment for playing floorball and field equipment.

Floorball sticks

Choosing the right stick is crucial to a player's comfort and effectiveness on the field. Sticks are available in a variety of lengths and hardnesses to match the player's height and strength. A characteristic feature of floorball sticks is the end in the form of a plastic paddle, which is used to guide the ball and make shots. It is worth paying attention to the quality of the materials from which the stick is made, as this affects its durability and performance characteristics.

Goals in floorball

Goals are a key piece of field equipment for many team games, and their role in floorball is no different. Standard goals for floorball are 160 cm wide and 115 cm high, and they also come in smaller versions. They are made of solid materials, such as steel and aluminum, which ensure durability and resistance to damage. The goals are equipped with a net, which stops the ball after the shot and makes it easier for the referee to assess the situation on the field.

Floorballs for floorball

A dodgeball is another essential part of the game. Standard models are made of plastic, such as polycarbonate or PVC. These materials provide lightness and appropriate properties, which affects the comfort of the game. The diameter of a dodgeball is 72 mm, and the weight oscillates around 23 grams. The ball has characteristic holes that affect its flight path and stability during play.

Equipment of the floorball field

The standard dimensions of the field are 40 meters in length and 20 meters in width, although they can be adjusted to local conditions. An important part of the field equipment are benches for reserve players. They need to be placed at an appropriate distance from the sidelines to ensure freedom of movement for players and referees. The pitch should be surrounded by bands, and it's a good idea to plot side lines, center lines and goal lines, which make it easier to orient players and referees.
