Helpful information about soccer goals in a nutshell
1 Different types of goals
Stationary goals- These are solutions dedicated to permanent installation on playing fields. Their main advantage is exceptional stability, which is achieved by being fixed in special sleeves permanently embedded in the ground. These sleeves not only guarantee the solidity of the structure, but also increase the safety of players during intensive games, eliminating the risk of the goal reverting. Stationary goals are most often used on professional playing fields, where durability and resistance to weather conditions and intensive use are required. Depending on your needs, these goals are available in full-size (e.g., 7.32 x 2.44 meters) or smaller sizes suitable for junior pitches.
Portable bromides
- This is a solution with flexibility and ease of use in mind. Their main advantage is their lightweight construction, which allows the goal to be quickly and easily moved to any place on the field, as well as conveniently stored after games. These goals often have folding arches and structural components, which makes them easy to transport. They are ideal for training fields and anywhere where goals need to be frequently moved or stored. Thanks to their collapsible design and the ability to fold the net together with the frame, portable goals take up little space, which is a big advantage for smaller sports facilities. Although they are lightweight, they are often made of durable materials, such as anodized aluminum, which ensures their longevity and resistance to the elements.
Mobile gates
- This is the most versatile solution, combining the advantages of stationary and mobile gates. They are equipped with transport systems, usually in the form of swivel casters, which allow them to be easily moved around the field without the need for disassembly. Mobile goals are ideal for use on training fields, where quick removal of goals from the playing field is required after a game. Equipped with drop-down casters, they can be easily moved even over longer distances, and with the ability to fill the base frame with sand, their stability during play is guaranteed without the need for additional ballast. Mobile goals also use special net fastening systems (such as UMOS holders), which ensure quick installation and removal of the net, further increasing the functionality and convenience of use.
2 Materials and construction
- The design is based on modern technologies and high-quality materials. The most commonly used material in the manufacture of goal frames is specially reinforced aluminum, which thanks to its properties combines lightness with exceptional strength. Aluminum profiles, used for the construction of the main and lower frames, usually have a cross-section of 120 x 100 mm, which increases resistance to stress and ball impact. In addition, these profiles are often reinforced with double ribs, which gives the goals additional structural rigidity and prolongs their life.- Aluminum frames are usually powder-coated, which provides additional protection against corrosion, especially in changing weather conditions. Powder coating ensures even coverage of the entire surface, which not only contributes to aesthetics, but also to protection against mechanical damage and metal oxidation.
- An important structural element are the arches and bottom crossbars, which in the more advanced models are made of galvanized steel, usually with a section of 35 x 35 mm. Galvanized steel is a material characterized by high corrosion resistance, which makes it an ideal choice for use in elements exposed to direct weathering and intensive use. In the case of mobile goals, the use of transportable casters made of durable plastic or stainless steel makes it easy to move the structure without risk of damage.
- The construction of football goals is also based on innovative solutions, such as special systems for joining aluminum profiles, which eliminate the load on the fastening screws, thereby reducing the risk of deformation in the most sensitive areas. As a result, the goals maintain their properties and shape with long-term use. Metal fasteners and mounting elements are usually galvanized steel, which further increases their resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear.
3. adaptation to different field sizes and user needs
- Soccer goals are available in a variety of sizes to suit the specifics of the field and level of play. Full-size goals of 7.32 x 2.44 meters meet FIFA standards and are used on professional fields. Medium-sized 5 x 2 m goals work well for junior games and on training fields, providing younger players with optimal learning and playing conditions.- For the youngest players, mini goals ranging from 1.6 x 2.4 m to 0.8 x 1.2 m are offered, which are ideal for schools and soccer clubs. Lightweight and easy to carry, they are suitable for smaller fields and recreational games.
- There are also specialized goals, such as 5.50 x 2.20 m models dedicated to beach soccer. These goals are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, such as sand and moisture, while being mobile and easy to transport.
- Regardless of the type of goal - stationary, portable or mobile - all models can be customized to meet the specific needs of users, offering flexibility and functionality at every level of play.
4 Ease of assembly and transportation
- Football goals, regardless of type, are designed for easy assembly and convenient transportation. Stationary goals are mounted with bushings permanently embedded in the ground, which guarantees stability and safety. The bushings also allow quick removal of the frame if necessary. Mobile versions are equipped with caster systems that allow the goals to be conveniently moved around the field - the goals can have 4 or 5 casters that can be lowered and locked, making it easy to transport them and set them stably on the turf. In addition, the bottom frame of some models is filled with sand, which provides stability without the need for additional ballast.- Installation of the net is carried out using a system of UMOS-type brackets, which are easy to use, weatherproof and do not require additional tools. This system allows quick installation and removal of the net, which is especially important for portable and mobile goals, where flexibility and time are of the essence. In addition, stabilizing elements are used on different surfaces, such as pin holders for grass fields or plate brands for concrete surfaces.
- Modern soccer goals offer quick and intuitive assembly and transportation, making them a functional solution for both training fields and professional games.
5 Safety and standards
- The safety of football goals is a priority, which is why all models must meet strict standards, such as FIFA and Polish Standards (PN), which guarantee stability, durability and minimize the risk of accidents. Stationary goals are mounted in sleeves, which ensures that they are firmly embedded in the ground and eliminate the risk of toppling. Portable and mobile goals are equipped with stabilizing elements such as pin handles or sand ballast in the bottom frame to ensure their safety during play.- The high-quality aluminum and galvanized steel used to manufacture the goals are resistant to corrosion and harsh weather conditions. Additional powder coating protects the structure from UV radiation and mechanical damage. The use of the UMOS net fastening system ensures fast, secure installation of the net, eliminating sharp edges, which minimizes the risk of injury.
- Certification to FIFA and PN standards ensures that the goals have passed strength, load and safety tests, which is crucial for professional soccer fields. The soccer goals are designed with the safety of users of all ages in mind, making them suitable for both younger and older players.
