Helpful information about gymnastic paths in a nutshell

1. materials and construction

- The gymnastic paths we offer are made of high-quality materials, providing both comfort and safety during training. The key component of our paths is polyethylene (PE) foam, which has undergone a chemical crosslinking process. This advanced technological process gives the PE foam an exceptional density of 30 kg/m³. This density provides optimal cushioning and flexibility, which is essential to protect against injury during intense exercise. PE foam is also known for its resistance to wear and tear, which guarantees the longevity of the products even under intensive use.
- The paths are constructed with several layers of foam, which further increases their strength and stability. In the standard version of the gymnastics path, the thickness is 25 mm, 35 mm, 45 mm, of which 20 mm, 30 mm or 40 mm is the foam layer, respectively, and 5 mm is carpet-like. The carpet layers not only have an aesthetic function, but also protect the foam from mechanical damage, while providing slip resistance. The latter feature is crucial, as it reduces the risk of slipping and injury during dynamic movements.
- Our paths are available in two versions: standard and notched. The standard version is ideal for general use in various sports, where an even, stable base is required. The notched version, on the other hand, which has special grooves, is designed for specific needs, such as better flexibility in certain directions and easier rolling and storage of the paths.
- Available in a variety of colors, such as blue or honey, the path can be customized to match the aesthetics of the sports hall interior or the personal preferences of users. The colors are durable and fade-resistant, ensuring that the paths will look attractive for a long time. It is a product that combines modern technology, the highest quality materials and functional design, meeting the requirements of both amateur and professional athletes.

2 Technical parameters

Our gymnastic paths are available in three different thicknesses: 25 mm, 35 mm and 45 mm. Each thickness meets the specific requirements of users.
- 25 mm thick paths: consist of 20 mm PE foam and 5 mm carpet-like layer. Ideal for general fitness and gymnastics applications where moderate cushioning is required. Lighter and portable, easier to roll and store
- 35mm thick tracks: consist of 30mm PE foam and a 5mm layer of carpet-like padding. They offer better cushioning, making them suitable for more intense workouts and exercises that require more joint protection.
- 45mm thick tracks: consist of 40mm PE foam and a 5mm layer of carpet-like padding. They provide the highest level of cushioning, ideal for rehabilitation training and disciplines requiring intense jumps and acrobatics. Despite their greater thickness, they remain relatively easy to roll and store thanks to advanced manufacturing technology.

3 Uses and benefits

Gymnastic tracks are widely used in a variety of sports and training programs, being an indispensable piece of equipment for any professional sports hall and home training spaces. Their versatility makes them ideal for athletes at every level, from amateurs to professionals.
- Gymnastics and acrobatics: gymnastics tracks are used as an essential element to ensure safety when performing jumps, tumbling and other dynamic movements. The cushioning they provide protects joints and muscles from excessive stress, reducing the risk of injury.
- Aerobics and fitness: the tracks act as a surface that cushions impacts, protects against slips and provides comfort during exercise. Thanks to their flexibility and non-slip surface, they are perfect for performing a variety of fitness and strength exercises.
- Martial arts, jugo, karate, taekwondo: the paths are used as a training mat to protect against injury during throws, falls and intense techniques. In rehabilitation training, these paths provide a stable yet soft surface for performing exercises to restore fitness.
- Gymnastic paths significantly reduce the risk of injury by absorbing shocks and reducing pressure on joints and the spine. This allows athletes to train more intensively and safely, which is crucial for both amateurs and professionals. The foam layer and carpet-like covering ensure high comfort. Exercises performed on the gymnastics paths are more comfortable due to the softness of the ground, which is especially important for prolonged training sessions. Specially designed PE foam layers support the exercise technique by stabilizing the ground and reducing the risk of slipping. Improved grip and cushioning of the ground allow for more efficient movements, which can lead to improved athletic performance.

Customizable

- Thickness and hardness of the tracks: Each thickness is designed to meet the specific needs of users. Thicker tracks offer more cushioning, which is ideal for intense training and rehabilitation, while thinner versions are great for general fitness and gymnastics applications.
- Colors and finish: the availability of different colors, such as blue or honey, allows the paths to match the aesthetics of the training space. The colors are durable and fade-resistant, ensuring that the paths will look attractive for a long time.
Standard vs. Notched version
- Standard versions of gymnastic paths offer a number of features that make them indispensable for various sports and training applications. Their uniform surface provides exceptional stability, which is crucial for the precise performance of gymnastics and acrobatic exercises. The tracks in the standard version are also easy to clean and maintain, thanks to the smooth surface of the carpet-like covering. A layer of high-density PE foam provides excellent cushioning that protects users' joints and spine, minimizing the risk of injury. In addition, their versatility and wide range of applications make them suitable for use in a variety of sports and rehabilitation.
- Notched versions, thanks to special grooves, are more flexible and easier to roll and store. These types of paths can be better tailored to users' specific requirements, offering additional benefits in terms of functionality, making them extremely versatile and practical for various applications. Namely, the grooves in notched paths provide increased flexibility, allowing the path to fit more easily on uneven surfaces. This feature is particularly important in areas where the ground may not be perfectly smooth. Notched grooves make it easier to roll the paths, resulting in better portability and space savings. What's more, the grooves make notched paths easier to lay out and install. By increasing grip on the ground, grooves improve the stability of the path, minimizing the risk of the path shifting during intense and dynamic exercises. The grooves allow the path to be better adapted to specific and more dynamic exercises that require greater flexibility of the ground, such as acrobatic jumps and exercises with martial arts elements. Despite the increased flexibility, the incised paths retain their strength and resistance to mechanical damage. The grooves are designed in such a way that they do not adversely affect the structural integrity of the path to ensure long-lasting use. These additional functional benefits make incised versions of gymnastic paths extremely versatile, practical and more comfortable for a variety of sports and training applications.
In a nutshell - if you value versatility, stability and ease of maintenance, standard paths will be an apt choice. On the other hand, if you value additional flexibility, ease of storage, assembly and disassembly, incised paths are worth considering.
